Praia da Luz is a beach located 7 km from Lagos, Is also the name of the tourist village of Luz. Being a fishing village, now has several holiday complexes.
It is a holiday area that receives tourists of different nationalities every year (mainly Portuguese, Spanish, English, French and German). Despite the concrete waistline that continues to develop around it, the village retains some of its charm, especially on summer days when the beach is one of the busiest.
The beach itself is divided into two parts, one with fine white sand, characteristic of the Algarve region and the other with rocks. The water is clean and transparent. The beach is qualified with a Blue Flag. The beach is accompanied by a stroll with benches, inviting you to a break in front of the sea.
